Why Business Goal Setting for Women in Tech Matters More Than Ever in 2026
And why I’m inviting you to plan them with me live this December…
Every December, I pause, take a deep breath, and reconnect with one of my longest running traditions. It is a tradition that has shaped my life for three decades and today it is one of the core practices I teach my clients.
As we approach 2026, I want to share this tradition with you because business goal setting for women in tech is not just important, it is transformational.
Before I tell you about the workshop I am hosting, I want to tell you where this practice truly came from.
Growing up in uncertain times and discovering the power of goal setting
I grew up in Soviet Russia and then lived through the turmoil of the 90s. The future felt uncertain. Stability was not something anyone could count on. But even as a child, I believed that while I could not change the entire system, I could change my own path. I could focus on the things within my control. I could focus on my habits, my skills, my learning, and my direction.
One of my biggest dreams back then was mastering English. In my mind, foreign languages were the key to independence and freedom. They represented a path to a different life, one not defined by the limitations of the environment I was growing up in.
I still remember my diary. It had faux zebra fur on the cover, a tiny lock, and inside it were the first goals I ever wrote. My top three goals for the year. My five year goals. A ten year plan that felt terrifying and completely unrealistic.
Those goals included things no one around me believed were possible. Living abroad. Getting a prestigious degree. Building a stable career. Creating a lifestyle I only saw in magazines. It all felt out of reach.
But something powerful shifted when I heard a line in a Hollywood movie. It said something like: “Make your goals as ambitious as you possibly can so that even if you get 1% there, your life will already be transformed.” That idea stayed with me for years.
I learned to set goals that stretched me far beyond my circumstances. I made them big so that even small progress felt meaningful.
Ten years later, after completing my Master’s degree in Paris, working in my first fintech job, and getting promoted from office assistant to CFO of an international company, I found that old diary.
To my surprise, I realized that I had achieved every single one of those impossible goals.
Not because I obsessed over them. Not because I had a perfect plan. But because I always knew the direction I was moving toward. My yearly goals kept me focused, grounded, and aligned.
That was the moment I understood the true power of goal setting.
A tradition that has lasted 30 years
For thirty years now, every December, I write my goals for the year ahead. I seal them in an envelope. A year later, a few days before Christmas, my family and I open our envelopes together. We check what came true. We celebrate progress. And yes, we calculate success rates. 🙂
This practice is a reminder that no matter how hard or chaotic the year was, you always move forward more than you think. It is one of the most grounding and uplifting traditions in my life.
And now I want to share it with you in a structured and practical way focused on business goal setting for women in tech who are balancing a demanding career with the desire to build something of their own.
Introducing the 2026 Goal Setting Workshop for Women in Tech
If you are a woman in tech who wants to start or grow a business in 2026 while working full time, this workshop is for you. It is a 60 minute hands on session where we will set real business goals that fit your life and your schedule.
This is not vague resolution making. This is practical business goal setting for women in tech who are navigating careers, family life, and the desire to build something meaningful on the side.
You will leave with clarity and an actionable plan you can follow through on, even with limited time.
The exact system I use to run 3 businesses while raising two kids under 3
In this workshop, I will teach you the exact system I learned years ago from Tony Robbins. It changed my life completely and transformed the way I work.
Thanks to this system, I can run three businesses in under 30 hours a week, raise two kids under three, appear on podcasts, coach clients, and still make time for pro bono work. This system simplifies decision making, removes overwhelm, and keeps you focused on what actually moves the needle.
What we will create together during the workshop
In this 60 minute live session, you will set:
- your top three business goals for 2026
- your quarterly milestones
- your monthly focus areas
- your weekly actions that fit your schedule
- and we will lock it all directly into your calendar
You will be working on your business goals in real time, guided step by step.
And yes, all of this will happen with my favorite Christmas playlist in the background. You are invited to bring a cup of hot chocolate or anything that makes this moment feel warm and intentional.
Why this workshop matters
Business goal setting for women in tech is not “nice to have.” It is essential. If you are building a business alongside a full time job, you do not have time to waste on unclear priorities. You need a plan that fits your reality, not someone else’s.
You deserve a 2026 strategy that feels achievable, aligned, and inspiring.
